Welcome to Britannia House.

The house is over 300 years old, grade II listed and situated in the conservation area of the old town. Britannia House has recently undergone extensive refurbishment, revealing many fascinating historical features such as ancient beams, original stonework and distempered walls. Whilst maintaining the house’s character, the accommodation is now fully modernised and provides the highest degree of comfort.

There are three guest bedrooms each with superior en-suite facilities. Guests have the use of a cosy sitting room with books, magazines and music available and a window-seat overlooking the narrow street below. Each bedroom has television, hairdryer, radio-alarm clock and has facilities to make coffee or a pot of piping hot tea.
