Rates are for ROOM and BREAKFAST (April to October)

Room for two persons sharing:
1 night Ł80 per night
2 nights Ł75 per night
3 nights or more Ł70 per night

Single occupancy of double/twin room:
1 night Ł60 per night
2 nights Ł55 per night
3 nights or more Ł50 per night

From November to March (except January when we are closed), winter rates apply which are as the summer rates less Ł10 in all cases.
Rates for Christmas and New Year are Ł80/person/night for all nights.

Mike and Jenny Gillett do hope to welcome you to Britannia House.
Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:00 and consists of pressed fruit juices, fresh fruit salad, bio yoghurt and cereals. This is followed by a cooked English breakfast, toast and tea or coffee.
A payphone is available in the guests' sitting room. While we do not have a liquor licence, glasses and bottle openers are provided for those who bring their own.

Bookings will be confirmed when guests supply their credit card details. Alternatively a deposit equating to one night’s accommodation will confirm the booking.
Cancellations that are made less than 24 hours in advance, or those who fail to cancel will be charged at the full booking rate. Where a cancellation is made less than a week from the date booked, we will endeavour to re-let the room. If this is not possible however and we have had to turn away prospective guests, a charge of one day’s accommodation will have to be made. We appreciate guests co-operation in this matter.
Checking In can be done from 1430 onwards. Guests arriving in Teignmouth earlier may, by arrangement, leave their bags before 14:30. Guests are requested to fill out their registration cards as soon as possible after arriving.

Checking Out should be accomplished by 10:30. Guests who wish to check out after 11:00 will be charged Ł10 per hour or part of an hour. Guests who are continuing their stay are requested to vacate their rooms between 10:30 and 14:30 in order that they may be serviced.
Accounts can be settled on departure by means of cash, UK cheque with cheque card, or by major credit/debit card. We do not take Diners Club Cards and regret that American Express Card payments are surcharged at 5% to pass on their commission levies.
